About the Role
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate stock records. This role is crucial for supporting daily restaurant operations and preventing shortages or overstocking.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for food and non‑food items.
- Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams regarding stock needs.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Experience as a Storekeeper in the restaurant or F&B industry.
- Strong organizational and inventory‑management skills.
- Ability to use inventory software (preferred).
- Good communication skills in English.
