About the Role
The Gypsum Board Technician will be responsible for all types of gypsum board installation and finishing works for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in Rabigh. This role requires strong technical skills in gypsum partitioning, ceiling works, and decorative designs, along with the ability to read basic drawings and follow site instructions. The worker will be part of a professional construction/finishing team under FAT Company, ensuring high-quality workmanship, safety compliance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.
This position is suitable for candidates who have hands-on experience in gypsum board work, can work long hours, and are committed to delivering neat, accurate, and durable finishes. Reliability, discipline, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities

Gypsum Installation:
- Install gypsum board partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and wall linings.
- Measure, cut, and fit gypsum boards according to required dimensions.

Finishing & Detailing:
- Apply joint tape, compound, and finishing materials to achieve smooth surfaces.
- Perform sanding, patching, and touch-ups to prepare surfaces for painting.
- Execute simple decorative gypsum designs as per site requirements.

Site Work & Coordination:
- Follow instructions from site engineer/foreman and complete tasks on time.
- Coordinate with other trades (electricians, painters, etc.) to avoid rework.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.

Tools & Safety:
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
- Follow all safety rules, wear PPE, and comply with company HSE policies.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Previous experience as a Gypsum Board Worker / Gypsum Carpenter / Ceiling Installer.
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of gypsum board installation and finishing.
- Ability to measure accurately and work with levels and straight lines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Other:
- Physically fit and able to work 10-hour shifts.
- Ready to work in Rabigh.
- Valid iqama preferred (details to be confirmed with company).
Working Conditions
- Duty Time: 10 hours per day (as per company schedule).
- Work Environment: Construction/finishing sites, indoor and sometimes outdoor.
- Overtime: As per project needs and company policy.
