About the Role
Welding QC Inspectors ensure that all welding activities meet project specifications, international codes, and client requirements. At ASGC, this role is vital for maintaining quality assurance across fabrication and installation phases. CBT-passed inspectors demonstrate competency aligned with major client standards, including Aramco.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect welding activities, including fit-up, root pass, and final weld quality.
- Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications for compliance.
- Monitor welding parameters, consumables, and environmental conditions.
- Conduct visual inspections and coordinate NDT activities.
- Verify weld maps, test reports, and material traceability.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation for QA/QC records.
- Coordinate with construction teams to resolve welding-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with international codes such as ASME, API, and AWS.
Skills & Qualifications
- CBT-passed QC Inspector (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, etc.).
- Familiarity with NDT methods and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to interpret drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
