About the Role
We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join a leading oil and gas organization in Saudi Arabia. This position is ideal for professionals who excel in active project environments, have strong high‑voltage expertise, and are committed to delivering safe, high‑quality work on major industrial sites.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in executing large‑scale oil and gas projects across multiple locations. You will oversee site electrical activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in line with project schedules.
You will collaborate closely with project managers, HSE teams, and multidisciplinary engineers to support installations, resolve technical issues, and guide projects from construction through commissioning. This is a hands‑on field role suited for engineers who thrive in dynamic site environments and enjoy taking ownership of critical project tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing high‑voltage electrical works, including installation, testing, and inspection
- Supporting electrical activities across oil and gas construction sites
- Supervising contractors and monitoring daily site progress
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and project standards
- Coordinating with project managers and cross‑functional teams
- Reviewing drawings and providing technical support on site
- Preparing progress reports and essential project documentation
- Participating in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
- Identifying potential risks and promoting safe work practices
- Assisting with troubleshooting and commissioning activities
- Supporting project schedules and tracking key milestones
Candidate Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with high‑voltage electrical systems (essential)
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical or Civil may be considered based on experience)
- Experience working on large industrial or oil and gas projects
- Proven ability to manage contractors and coordinate site activities
- Solid understanding of safety procedures and site compliance
- PMP certification is an advantage but not required
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in field environments
- Professional attitude with strong problem‑solving skills
