We are seeking an experienced and driven Equipment Rental Manager to lead our rental operations and support the continued growth of our business. This role is ideal for someone with deep industry knowledge, strong commercial instincts, and a passion for building lasting client relationships.

As the Equipment Rental Manager, you will oversee the full rental lifecycle from preparing quotations and executing contracts to coordinating deliveries, returns, invoicing, and payment follow ups.
You will also play a strategic role in business development by attracting new clients, strengthening existing partnerships, and identifying opportunities for growth within the construction and industrial sectors.
This position blends leadership, operations, sales, and fleet management, requiring someone who is confident both in the office and on project sites.
Key Responsibilities

Rental Operations
- Manage daily rental activities, including contracts, deliveries, returns, and invoicing
- Prepare quotations and negotiate rental terms with clients
- Follow up on payments and minimize overdue accounts
- Ensure all rental transactions comply with company policies and contract conditions

Business Development & Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with construction and industrial clients
- Acquire new customers while nurturing long-term partnerships
- Attend client meetings and visit project sites as needed
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities

Fleet Management & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness
- Track utilization rates and enhance operational efficiency
- Prepare regular performance, utilization, and revenue reports
- Recommend fleet upgrades or expansion based on market demand

Contracts & Risk Management
- Review and prepare rental contracts to safeguard company interests
- Follow up on insurance documents, guarantees, and compliance requirements
- Address client complaints or disputes in a professional and timely manner
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 7 - 10 years of experience in heavy or light equipment rental
- Strong understanding of the construction and project market
- Proven experience in pricing, negotiation, and contract management
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent relationship-building and deal-closing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and visit project sites when required
- Familiarity with rental management systems or ERP software
