About the Role
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery used in construction and facility operations. The role requires hands‑on technical skills, strong troubleshooting abilities, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems (pumps, motors, compressors, HVAC components, piping, etc.)
- Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repair solutions
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Ensure proper calibration and alignment of mechanical components
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage
- Follow safety procedures and company maintenance protocols
- Coordinate with engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Support emergency repair tasks when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field
- Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers
- Strong understanding of mechanical tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
