About the Role
A Fire Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring fire safety, regulatory compliance, and the proper implementation of fire protection systems across project sites. You will be responsible for inspections, system oversight, coordination with site teams, and maintaining high engineering standards throughout all project phases.
This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic, fast‑paced construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all fire protection and safety engineering activities on site
- Ensure full compliance with Saudi fire safety regulations and engineering standards
- Conduct inspections, audits, and fire risk assessments
- Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm and fire fighting systems
- Prepare technical reports, inspection findings, and essential safety documentation
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, contractors, and consultants
- Monitor site operations to ensure adherence to fire safety procedures
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain professional engineering practices and uphold safety standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fire Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer, or Safety Engineer
- Strong technical background in Fire Protection or Safety Engineering
- Valid engineering certifications in Fire Protection or Safety
- Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
- Only candidates with valid SCE engineering certification will be considered
- Solid knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire fighting systems, and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and perform effectively on construction sites
- Strong communication, reporting, and coordination skills
