Civil Supervisor

The Civil Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in overseeing daily construction site operations and ensuring that all civil engineering activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications. In rapidly developing industrial hubs such as Yanbu, this position is essential for maintaining high-quality standards, meeting project deadlines, and ensuring adherence to strict industrial regulations—particularly on SABIC-approved projects.

The Civil Supervisor acts as the primary link between engineers, contractors, and site teams, ensuring that all work aligns with approved drawings, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Their presence on-site helps minimize delays, enhance productivity, and maintain discipline across the workforce, contributing directly to the successful and timely completion of major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities on-site.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to project specifications, approved drawings, and safety standards.
• Lead and coordinate labor teams, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to project management.
• Verify proper use of construction materials and adherence to approved work methods.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve operational issues, and coordinate with quality control teams to maintain construction quality.
• Oversee documentation processes and ensure compliance with safety guidelines and site regulations.
• Confirm that all workers possess valid permits, IDs, and required certifications before commencing work.
• Maintain continuous communication with planning and engineering departments to align field activities with project objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in civil construction supervision, preferably on SABIC-approved projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, safety regulations, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and implement site plans effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage workforce productivity under strict timelines.
• Familiarity with mandatory documentation requirements, including:
  • Valid Iqama
  • Muqeem status
  • Updated CV
  • Chamber of Commerce registration
  • Ajeer
  • Certification documents
• Passport submission is mandatory as part of the recruitment process.
