The Rigger III (TUV Certified) is responsible for executing advanced rigging operations during critical shutdown activities. This role demands a highly skilled professional capable of handling complex lifting tasks, coordinating with crane operators, and ensuring safe movement of heavy equipment in high‑risk industrial environments. The Rigger III ensures that all lifting operations are performed with precision, compliance, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rigging operations, including load calculations, sling selection, and safe lifting techniques.
• Inspect, maintain, and verify the condition of rigging gear, lifting tools, and equipment before use.
• Coordinate closely with crane operators, lifting supervisors, and site teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Execute lifts in confined, elevated, or high‑risk areas with full compliance to shutdown safety protocols.
• Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
• Ensure all lifting activities follow TUV standards, client requirements, and site safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging activities and report any equipment defects or safety concerns immediately.

Required Skills & Experience

• TUV Certification – Mandatory for Rigger III classification.
• Proven experience in industrial shutdown projects.
• Strong knowledge of lifting plans, rigging techniques, and load management.
• Ability to interpret lifting drawings, load charts, and safety guidelines.
• Physically fit, safety‑conscious, and capable of working in demanding shutdown conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness.
