About the Role
The Permit Receiver plays a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and uninterrupted execution of shutdown activities. This position requires a seasoned professional with strong experience in industrial work permit systems, preferably with a background as an Ex‑Anabeeb Supervisor. The Permit Receiver is responsible for coordinating, validating, and controlling all work permits before any task begins, ensuring full alignment with site safety standards and operational protocols. This role is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance and preventing operational delays during high‑risk shutdown operations.
Project Duration: 3 - 4 Months
Payment: Timesheet Basis – 30 Days

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of work permits, including preparation, verification, authorization, and closure.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, safety officers, and operational teams to ensure all safety prerequisites are met before issuing permits.
- Conduct field inspections to confirm work readiness, hazard controls, and compliance with site safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all permits are logged, tracked, and updated in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Communicate effectively with multi‑disciplinary teams to resolve permit‑related issues and avoid workflow disruptions.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, risk mitigation measures, and shutdown execution standards.
- Support incident prevention by identifying unsafe conditions and escalating concerns promptly.
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Permit Receiver in industrial shutdown projects.
- Background as an Ex‑Anabeeb Supervisor or equivalent supervisory-level permit management role.
- Strong understanding of work permit systems (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Electrical, etc.).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced shutdown environments.
- High attention to detail and strong safety awareness.
