A Rigger III plays a vital operational role in heavy‑industry environments, ensuring the safe and precise lifting, moving, and positioning of equipment and materials across construction, industrial, and oil & gas projects. This position requires hands‑on expertise in setting up rigging systems, preparing lifting gear, and coordinating closely with crane operators to execute lifts according to strict safety and project standards. Rigger III professionals support daily site operations by maintaining equipment readiness, conducting pre‑lift inspections, and ensuring all rigging activities comply with ARAMCO approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed inspections of slings, shackles, hooks, and all lifting accessories to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare rigging configurations based on load weight, center of gravity, and lifting method.
- Secure, balance, and attach loads using appropriate rigging tools and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.
- Monitor lifting operations to prevent hazards, equipment damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain rigging tools, track inventory, and report any defects or equipment issues.
- Support supervisors in planning lifts, identifying risks, and implementing safe‑work procedures.
- Ensure full adherence to ARAMCO safety standards, site rules, and operational guidelines.
Required Expertise & Qualifications
- ARAMCO‑approved Rigger III certification (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of rigging fundamentals, lifting gear, and safe‑load calculations.
- Ability to read load charts and understand lifting plans.
- Experience in industrial or construction environments, preferably within oil & gas.
- Physically fit, safety‑focused, and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
- Familiarity with ARAMCO work permits, safety protocols, and inspection procedures.
