Rigger II

A Rigger II is responsible for executing advanced rigging operations on major industrial and oil & gas projects, ensuring that all lifting activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with ARAMCO standards. This role requires deeper technical understanding of complex lifts, load distribution, and rigging configurations. Rigger II professionals support high‑risk operations, assist in planning critical lifts, and provide guidance to junior riggers to maintain safe and smooth workflow across the project site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rigging tasks, including complex load handling, multi‑crane lifts, and heavy‑equipment positioning.
• Inspect, select, and prepare rigging gear suitable for specialized lifting operations.
• Evaluate load characteristics and determine the safest rigging method for each lift.
• Direct crane operators using precise hand signals and communication protocols.
• Participate in lift planning, risk assessments, and toolbox talks with supervisors.
• Ensure all rigging activities comply with ARAMCO safety requirements and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of rigging equipment, inspections, and usage logs.
• Provide guidance and support to Rigger III and helper‑level personnel during operations.

Required Expertise & Qualifications

• ARAMCO approved Rigger II certification (mandatory).
• Strong technical knowledge of rigging systems, lifting equipment, and load‑handling procedures.
• Proven experience in high‑risk industrial or oil & gas lifting operations.
• Ability to interpret lifting plans, load charts, and engineering instructions.
• Excellent situational awareness, communication skills, and safety discipline.
• Physically capable of working in challenging outdoor and industrial environments.
