Safety Officer

The Safety Officer plays a critical role in ensuring a secure, compliant, and risk‑free work environment across industrial, construction, and utility projects. This position is responsible for enforcing safety regulations, monitoring daily site activities, and ensuring adherence to SEC approved safety protocols. The Safety Officer acts as the primary authority for hazard identification, incident prevention, and emergency preparedness, working closely with project managers, engineers, and workforce teams to maintain a culture of safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks across all work areas.
• Implement SEC approved safety procedures and ensure alignment with Saudi labor and industrial safety regulations.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and emergency response training for all site personnel.
• Identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and develop preventive strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of safety records, permits, and compliance reports.
• Coordinate with management to ensure continuous improvement of safety systems and practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• SEC approval/certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, risk assessment, and emergency protocols.
• Ability to communicate safety requirements clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proactive problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience in industrial or construction environments preferred.
