About the Role
The Saudi Mechanical Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment used in road construction projects. This role requires strong technical skills, hands‑on experience, and the ability to work efficiently in field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as graders, rollers, excavators, and asphalt machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Inspect machinery components, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in overhauling engines, pumps, and mechanical parts as required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report equipment conditions to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Technology or related field.
- Previous experience in road construction or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred. - Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and in outdoor project environments.
- Saudi nationality (mandatory).
