E & I Engineer

NWADER Al‑Jubail General Contracting Est. is urgently seeking a highly skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E & I) Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in industrial or construction environments. This role is essential to the successful execution of major infrastructure and energy projects in Jafurah, where precision, safety, and technical excellence are critical.

The E & I Engineer will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical and instrumentation systems from design and installation to testing, commissioning, and maintenance. The position plays a central role in ensuring that all systems operate reliably, meet engineering standards, and comply with Saudi regulatory requirements. In large-scale operations such as those managed by NWADER Al‑Jubail, this role directly supports operational continuity, minimizes downtime, and upholds strict safety protocols across the project site.

Detailed Job Summary

• Engineering & Technical Oversight

  • Lead and supervise the installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Review, interpret, and validate engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all electrical circuits, control systems, and instrumentation devices meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct technical evaluations and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.

• Project Execution & Coordination

  • Coordinate with project managers, civil/mechanical teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of project plans.
  • Monitor daily site activities, track progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical or instrumentation issues, providing timely solutions to avoid delays.
  • Support procurement teams by reviewing technical submittals and verifying material compliance.

• Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and Saudi industrial standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure safe installation practices and hazard-free operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including test reports, inspection logs, and commissioning records.
  • Ensure all work aligns with quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.

• Team Leadership & Support

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, technicians, and site personnel.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure all team members follow proper engineering and safety procedures.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on technical matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering within industrial or construction sectors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, instrumentation devices, and safety standards.
• Proficiency in engineering software used for designing, modeling, and simulating E&I layouts.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work under pressure in fast paced environments.
• Physically fit to navigate industrial sites safely.
