About the Role
The Warehouse Keeper oversees the storage, organization, and movement of materials within the warehouse. This role ensures accurate inventory control, safe handling of materials, and efficient coordination with procurement and production teams. In a chemical or industrial environment, attention to safety and compliance is especially important.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials
- Conducting regular inventory checks and maintaining accurate stock records
- Ensuring proper labeling, storage conditions, and safety compliance
- Coordinating with procurement and production teams to meet operational needs
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies
- Maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety standards within the warehouse
Required Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations and inventory management
- Preference for candidates with chemical or industrial sector experience
- Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills
- Ability to handle materials safely and follow warehouse protocols
