Refrigeration Technician

Carry out all the maintenance and repair activities of all refrigeration units (horizontal, vertical freezers/chillers, cold stores, vending machines and vehicle-fitted mobile cooling units), according to the work schedules procedures and company work instructions so as to keep the refrigeration units operational and up to market maintenance standards.

Key Accountabilities:

• Daily inspection

  • Perform daily inspection of all cooling units for proper functioning and temperature control so as to prevent the units from breakdown.
  • In the case of Vending machines ensure all components are fully functional.
  • Keep records of all the work performed and parts issued.

• Repair

  • Carry out the repairs in cases of breakdown or after inspection, in line with checklists and work instructions, in order to keep the cooling units operational.

• Planned maintenance

  • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance services of cooling units, according to the work relevant scheduling and service instructions
  • In the event of market freezers/chillers and vending machines the occasional on site repairs may be needed. These units may also need to be delivered, replaced or re located.

• Reporting

  • Complete all job cards and maintenance reports about work done.

Skills

• Job Requirements

  • Educational level Secondary school certificate
  • Engineering diploma or advance certificate
  • Minimum experience: 3 years of relevant experience needed (refrigeration technician) 5 years of relevant experience (Vending machine technician)
  • Languages: Fluent is Arabic and English
  • Other requirements: Should be physically fit
  • Must be able to pass theoretical and technical assessment
  • Must be willing to attend technical training programs
  • Must have (Saudi) drivers- license
  • Work schedule may require overtime and weekend work.
