About the Role
The Welding Engineer will oversee all welding-related activities for the Saudi Aramco project, ensuring compliance with Aramco standards, project specifications, and international codes. The role involves technical supervision, procedure development, quality assurance, and coordination with construction teams to ensure safe and efficient execution of welding operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and qualify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) in accordance with Saudi Aramco and international standards.
- Provide technical guidance to welders and construction teams on welding processes, materials, and techniques.
- Conduct welding inspections, monitor weld quality, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve welding-related issues and non-conformities.
- Review material certificates, welder qualifications, and ensure all documentation meets Aramco requirements.
- Participate in audits, site inspections, and technical meetings with clients and contractors.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols during all welding activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of welding codes (ASME, AWS, API).
- Certification such as CSWIP, AWS-CWI, or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding symbols.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
