Civil Supervisor

A Civil Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing and coordinating all civil construction activities at the project site. This position ensures that structural works, foundations, concrete activities, and infrastructure installations are executed strictly according to approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.

In major industrial sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical plants, and large‑scale infrastructure the Civil Supervisor acts as the operational link between project management and the site workforce. Their supervision ensures smooth workflow, adherence to safety regulations, and timely completion of construction milestones.

The role demands strong technical knowledge, practical site experience, and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily civil construction activities on site.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project procedures.
• Assign tasks to workers and monitor performance to maintain productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Track project progress and ensure adherence to construction schedules.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE.
• Verify that construction materials, tools, and equipment are used correctly and efficiently.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Review drawings and documents using AutoCAD and MS Office tools.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
