About the Role
The HSE Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all Health, Safety, and Environment documentation for the project. This role ensures that all safety records, permits, reports, and compliance documents are properly updated, stored, and accessible to the HSE team and project management.
In industrial and construction environments, accurate documentation is essential for regulatory compliance, audits, and maintaining a safe work environment. The Document Controller plays a vital role in supporting the HSE department by ensuring that all documents meet company standards and are submitted on time.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in handling HSE documentation within similar industries.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and control all HSE-related documents, including permits, reports, safety records, and compliance files.
- Maintain an organized filing system (digital and physical) for easy retrieval of documents.
- Ensure all documents are updated, approved, and distributed to relevant departments.
- Assist the HSE team in preparing reports, checklists, and audit documentation.
- Track document revisions and ensure only the latest versions are in circulation.
- Support the preparation of safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training records.
- Coordinate with site teams to collect and verify required HSE documents.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.
