About the Role
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and pricing strategies for electrical, civil, and industrial projects, including Aramco and non‑Aramco tenders. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of project specifications, and the ability to evaluate materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor costs to ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Analyze project requirements and develop pricing strategies for competitive bidding.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to gather accurate cost data.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for Aramco and non‑Aramco projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Maintain updated cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Participate in pre‑bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations when required.
- Ensure all estimates comply with client standards and project requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5 - 7 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in Aramco and non‑Aramco projects.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
- Excellent understanding of project costing, tendering procedures, and market pricing.
