About the Role
Design Leadership:
- Lead the MEP design process for projects, ensuring designs are robust and meet all relevant standards.
- Ensure design coordination with other disciplines, including architectural, civil, and structural teams.
Project Management:
- Manage MEP project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Technical Oversight:
- Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications for MEP systems.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
System Performance:
- Evaluate the efficiency and performance of MEP systems, recommending improvements as necessary.
- Implement energy efficient solutions and sustainability practices in designs.
Client Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding MEP-related inquiries and updates.
- Prepare and present technical proposals and reports to clients.
Team Development:
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and drafters in MEP engineering practices.
- Promote a collaborative team culture to achieve project goals.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure all designs comply with local codes, standards, and best practices in MEP engineering.
Risk Assessment:

Identify potential project risks related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of new technologies, trends, and changes in the MEP field for ongoing improvement of design practices.

Requirements
- Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
- Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CEng, LEED AP) are advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven track record of successfully completing large-scale MEP projects.
- Has worked 3 years at least in Real state companies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MEP design software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, HAP).
- In depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) practices is a plus.
