About the Role
The Piping Foreman plays a critical on-site leadership role within industrial, construction, and large-scale infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for supervising skilled pipefitters and ensuring that all piping installation, repair, and modification activities are executed according to engineering drawings, project specifications, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily activities of pipefitters and related craft workers on-site.
- Ensure all work aligns with approved engineering drawings, isometric diagrams, and project specifications.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials to maintain smooth workflow and meet project timelines.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify quality, safety compliance, and adherence to technical standards. • Identify potential issues early, implement corrective actions, and escalate critical concerns to supervisors. • Maintain accurate daily progress reports and communicate updates to project management. • Enforce safety protocols, permit-to-work procedures, and hazard control measures. • Support testing activities such as hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and line checks. • Guide workers on proper installation techniques, welding requirements, and material handling.
Required Skills & Knowledge • Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, fittings, valves, and fabrication methods. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and isometric sketches. • Knowledge of welding processes, pressure testing, and relevant piping codes/standards. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and maintain productivity. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and quality assurance procedures. • Prior experience in large industrial projects, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
