Pre‑Commissioning Manager | Mechanical

The Pre‑Commissioning Manager will lead and manage all mechanical pre‑commissioning activities, ensuring that equipment, pipelines, and mechanical systems are fully inspected, tested, and prepared prior to the commissioning phase. The role requires excellent coordination skills, technical leadership, and a strong understanding of Aramco procedures, engineering standards, and commissioning requirements.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure all systems are safe, compliant, and ready for start‑up. Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to manage multiple technical activities simultaneously are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all mechanical pre‑commissioning activities across project sites
• Ensure mechanical systems and equipment are fully prepared for commissioning and plant start‑up
• Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and project management
• Oversee pipeline flushing, pressure testing, leak testing, equipment checks, and system inspections
• Verify compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and Aramco requirements
• Review technical documents and ensure proper implementation of pre‑commissioning procedures
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues prior to commissioning
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing results, and system readiness reports
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety regulations and quality standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pre‑Commissioning Manager (Mechanical)
• Mandatory: Previous experience working on Saudi Aramco projects
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, pre‑commissioning processes, and industrial project operations
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate across multiple departments
• Strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Must be available for local transfer within Saudi Arabia

Preferred Skills

• Experience in oil & gas plants, refineries, or large industrial facilities
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Knowledge of mechanical testing, inspection procedures, and system verification processes
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
