Mechanical Engineer

A leading engineering and construction company in Riyadh is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its technical team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, designing, supervising, and executing mechanical systems across various construction and infrastructure projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on site experience, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, reviewing, and approving mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, pumps, piping, etc.).
• Preparing technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, safety standards, and engineering codes.
• Coordinating with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Ensuring all mechanical works meet Saudi building codes and project quality standards.
• Participating in project planning, cost estimation, and procurement processes.
• Providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering within construction or engineering projects.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and mechanical design software.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
