Senior Quality Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance / Quality Control to oversee the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). The ideal candidate will lead quality initiatives across all divisions and project sites, ensure compliance with standards, coordinate audits, and drive corrective actions to enhance overall performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of QA/QC processes in a project driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Management & Compliance

  • Oversee and monitor the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Verify through audits that procedures are regularly reviewed and properly implemented.
  • Identify root causes of quality losses and nonconformities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure project KPIs and performance metrics are measured and reported.

• Documentation & Records Control

  • Control, update, and distribute all company quality documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain project quality system documentation before project commencement.
  • Maintain accurate records of QA/QC meetings, inspections, and nonconformance reports.
  • Manage and archive all project quality documentation upon completion.

• Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate management review meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Conduct weekly QA/QC meetings to address issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate QA/QC activities with contractors, vendors, and site QA/QC teams.
  • Attend client quality management meetings and pre‑bid meetings to align project requirements.

• Audits & Inspections

  • Perform internal and external audits on behalf of management.
  • Verify contractor and vendor quality requirements and documentation submittals.
  • Monitor the disposition and closure of nonconformance reports.
  • Participate in preparing quality control and inspection forms.

• Personnel & Training

  • Review qualifications and training needs of quality inspection personnel.
  • Ensure responsible personnel perform inspections and controls systematically with proper evidence.

Job Requirements

• Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in QA/QC or QMS (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred.

• Experience

  • Proven experience in QA/QC management within project‑based industries.
  • Strong background in audits, documentation control, and QMS implementation.
  • Experience coordinating with contractors, clients, and cross‑functional teams.
