Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician will handle all aspects of electrical maintenance, including Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and day-to-day troubleshooting. You will ensure that all electrical systems, panels, distribution boards, lighting, and related equipment are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant standards and company procedures. This role requires hands-on experience in facilities management (FM) and the ability to respond quickly to breakdowns and service requests.

Key Responsibilities

• FM & Site Support:

  • Perform electrical maintenance for buildings, facilities, and equipment as part of the Facilities Management team.
  • Support daily operations and respond to maintenance requests from site supervisors.

• Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM):

  • Carry out scheduled inspections and PPM tasks on electrical systems, panels, DBs, lighting, motors, and control circuits.
  • Record all PPM activities, findings, and actions taken in maintenance logs.

• Corrective Maintenance (CM) & Repairs:

  • Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions on electrical equipment and systems.
  • Replace faulty components (breakers, contactors, relays, switches, cables, etc.) and ensure proper testing after repair.

• Testing & Troubleshooting:

  • Use appropriate testing tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.) to identify electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot power failures, tripping, abnormal heating, loose connections, and other electrical problems.
  • Ensure safe isolation, lock-out/tag-out, and restoration procedures.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all electrical safety standards and company HSE policies.
  • Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss incidents to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices at all times.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
  • Provide feedback and technical input to improve maintenance plans and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Technician in Facilities Management (FM) environment.
  • Strong background in PPM, CM, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.

• Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of electrical panels, DBs, lighting systems, motors, control circuits, and basic low-voltage systems.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and manuals.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing tools.

• Other Requirements:

  • Valid Iqama (transferable preferred).
  • Ready for immediate joining (no notice period).
  • Willing to work in Jeddah & KAEC as per operational needs.
  • Basic communication skills in English/Arabic are an advantage.
  • Team player with a responsible and proactive attitude.
