Fire Watch
At ATA Construction Company
About the Role
The Fire Watch role is a critical safety position within construction and industrial environments, particularly where hot work activities—such as welding, cutting, and grinding are performed. These operations generate sparks, heat, and potential ignition sources that require continuous monitoring to prevent fire-related incidents.
Fire Watch personnel serve as the first line of defense in maintaining a safe work environment. They ensure strict compliance with approved hot work procedures, monitor work zones for hazards, verify the availability of firefighting equipment, and respond immediately to unsafe conditions. In high‑regulation industrial zones like the Yanbu SABIC Industrial Area, Fire Watch staff play an essential role in supporting safety teams and maintaining operational integrity throughout construction and maintenance activities.
