Scaffolding Supervisor

The Scaffolding Supervisor will oversee daily scaffolding operations across the project site, ensuring that all scaffolding work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved engineering and safety guidelines. You will coordinate closely with construction teams, engineers, and safety departments to ensure scaffolding availability for all project phases, including construction, maintenance, shutdowns, and equipment installation.

This role requires a safety‑driven professional with strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of scaffolding systems, and the ability to manage teams in a fast‑paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision of Scaffolding Activities

• Lead and supervise the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
• Ensure all scaffolding is built according to approved drawings, standards, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily tasks with scaffolding crews to ensure timely and efficient completion of work.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce ARAMCO safety rules, project regulations, and industry best practices.
• Conduct routine inspections of scaffolding structures before use.
• Ensure all workers follow proper PPE requirements and safe work practices.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or structural concerns.

Coordination with Site Teams

• Work closely with engineers, construction supervisors, and safety officers to plan scaffolding needs.
• Ensure scaffolding is available and ready to support ongoing construction and maintenance activities.
• Assist in planning scaffolding requirements for upcoming project stages.

Inspection, Documentation & Reporting

• Perform regular scaffold inspections and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare reports related to scaffold conditions, safety observations, and daily activities.
• Ensure documentation complies with ARAMCO and project standards.

Requirements

• ARAMCO Certified Scaffolding Supervisor (mandatory).
• Proven experience supervising scaffolding activities on construction, industrial, or oil & gas project sites.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding safety standards, inspection procedures, and ARAMCO requirements.
• Ability to lead and manage scaffolding teams effectively.
• Must be available for immediate mobilization.

Preferred Experience

• Industrial plant construction or maintenance.
• Shutdown or turnaround project experience.
• Supervising scaffolding teams in large industrial facilities.
