Piping QA/QC Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and ARAMCO approved Piping QA/QC Supervisor to oversee all piping inspection and quality control activities for an industrial project in Al Jubail. The ideal candidate will ensure that all piping works are executed in full compliance with approved engineering drawings, project specifications, and ARAMCO quality standards.

This role requires strong technical expertise in piping inspection, welding processes, and testing procedures, along with the ability to lead QA/QC teams and coordinate effectively with project engineers, construction supervisors, and third‑party inspectors. The supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate quality documentation, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that all piping installations meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Piping Quality Supervision

• Lead and supervise daily piping quality control and inspection activities on-site.
• Ensure all piping fabrication and installation works comply with project specifications, ARAMCO standards, and approved drawings.
• Monitor fit-up, welding, alignment, and installation of piping systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Inspection & Testing

• Coordinate and conduct inspections for fit-up, welding, NDT, and visual examinations.
• Support and oversee hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, and other required mechanical tests.
• Ensure all inspections and tests are performed according to approved ITPs, procedures, and project requirements.

Quality Compliance

• Verify that all piping materials, fittings, valves, and components meet project and ARAMCO requirements.
• Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and engineering specifications.
• Identify non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and follow up on closure.

Documentation & Reporting

• Review, update, and maintain all inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inspection activities in accordance with project QA/QC systems.
• Report quality issues promptly and support the project team in resolving technical challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

• ARAMCO Approved Piping QC Supervisor (mandatory)
• CBT Pass (mandatory)
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Several years of proven experience in piping QA/QC supervision
• Strong background in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial construction projects
• Excellent knowledge of piping inspection procedures, welding processes, and ARAMCO standards
• Ability to read and interpret piping drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and technical specifications
• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills

Preferred Experience Candidates with the following experience will be given priority:

• Previous work on Saudi ARAMCO projects
• Experience in pipeline construction and industrial piping systems
• Background in refinery, gas plant, or petrochemical project environments
• Strong understanding of welding inspection coordination and piping testing procedures
• Proficiency in preparing and managing QA/QC documentation and inspection reports
