About the Role
The Estimation Engineer will prepare accurate cost estimates, technical proposals, and tender documents for insulation, scaffolding, painting, and industrial services projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs to prepare cost estimates.
- Develop pricing strategies and prepare technical/commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and operations teams for cost inputs.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing.
- Maintain updated cost databases and historical pricing records.
- Support tender clarifications, client meetings, and bid submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in estimation within industrial or construction sectors.
- Oil & gas project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of estimation software and MS Office tools.
