Safety Officer

Safety Officers ensure that all site activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and Hadid Project standards. They are responsible for preventing workplace incidents, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across the project site. This role is vital for protecting personnel, equipment, and the overall integrity of project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Ensure all workers comply with safety standards and use proper PPE.
• Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and support investigations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to maintain safe operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Hadid Authorization (mandatory).
• Previous experience as a Safety Officer in industrial or construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard control, and emergency procedures.
• Excellent observation, reporting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple safety responsibilities.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
