Survey Technician

The Survey Technicianwill support Fenna Engineering Consultancy’s field project teams by performing land surveying tasks, collecting accurate site data, and assisting engineers in preparing maps, layouts, and technical reports. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor project environments across various locations in Buraidah.

The technician will play a key role in ensuring that all measurements, coordinates, and site observations are precise and aligned with project specifications, engineering standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using total stations, GPS devices, and other surveying instruments.
• Collect, record, and verify site measurements, levels, and coordinates.
• Assist engineers in preparing survey reports, drawings, and site documentation.
• Perform topographic, boundary, and construction layout surveys as required.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of all collected data.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to support daily field operations.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards during all field activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in Surveying, Civil Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in land surveying or field measurement work (preferred).
• Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, and leveling instruments.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or surveying software is an advantage.
• Ability to work outdoors in various field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
