About the Role
The Soil Laboratory Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling soil testing services to construction companies, consultants, contractors, and engineering firms. This role requires strong technical understanding of soil testing processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships. The representative will identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, coordinate with the laboratory team, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service cycle. The position is ideal for candidates who combine engineering knowledge with strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote soil testing and laboratory services to clients in the construction and engineering sectors.
- Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and service presentations.
- Conduct client visits, meetings, and follow-ups to close deals.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team to ensure timely delivery of test results.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular performance reports.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions and events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering.
- Experience in sales or marketing, preferably in soil laboratories, construction materials testing, or geotechnical services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid transferable Iqama (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
