About the Role
The <b>Project Engineer</b> will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of safety and security projects, ensuring that all aspects align with engineering standards, regulations, and project timelines. The role requires expertise in electrical or mechanical systems, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation.<br> <br> This position involves designing, coordinating, and supervising engineering projects related to security systems, fire protection, and safety infrastructure, ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance. The engineer will act as a key liaison between contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders, managing resources effectively while optimizing workflow.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
- Project Planning & Coordination: <br>
- Develop detailed engineering project plans, outlining scope, timelines, and technical specifications. <br>
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation. <br>
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for safety and security projects. <br> <br>
- Technical Oversight & Engineering Design: <br>
- Review electrical and mechanical designs for compliance with industry standards. <br>
- Assist in developing security systems, fire protection measures, and safety infrastructure for buildings. <br>
- Ensure all technical components align with safety regulations and Saudi engineering codes. <br>
- Optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. <br> <br>
- Project Execution & Site Supervision: <br>
- Supervise project installations, ensuring safety protocols and engineering standards. <br>
- Monitor project progress, identify technical challenges, and develop solutions. <br>
- Conduct regular site visits to assess quality control and safety compliance. <br>
- Oversee the commissioning and testing of systems upon project completion. <br> <br>
- Budgeting & Resource Management: <br>
- Assist in cost estimation and resource allocation for engineering projects. <br>
- Track expenses to ensure projects remain within budget.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors for optimal pricing and service quality. <br> <br>
- Documentation, Compliance & Reporting: <br>
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including engineering reports, system specifications, and regulatory approvals. <br>
- Ensure compliance with safety laws, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. <br>
- Provide updates and status reports to senior management and stakeholders. <br> <br> <br> <b>- Requirements:</b> <br> <br> ✅ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. <br> ✅ Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in safety and security projects. <br> ✅ Technical Skills: Expertise in safety systems design, security installations, and regulatory compliance. <br> ✅ Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written) for technical documentation and communication. <br> ✅ Software Proficiency: Familiarity with engineering project management tools and reporting software. <br> ✅ Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical skills to identify project risks and develop solutions. <br> ✅ Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders efficiently.
