About the Role
A leading contracting company in Riyadh is seeking a Planning Manager to join its Planning/Project Management department. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and optimizing workflows to enhance project delivery.
<br> The Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating with different departments, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. The role demands a strategic approach to planning, with a strong emphasis on analysis, forecasting, and problem-solving. The Planning Manager will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to drive efficiency and minimize risks in project execution.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
- Project Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements. <br>
- Resource Allocation & Optimization: Assess manpower, materials, and equipment needs, coordinating with procurement and operations teams to maintain efficiency. <br>
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets. <br>
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare professional reports and presentations, offering insights into project performance, risks, and recommendations. <br>
- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and timely execution. <br>
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure projects adhere to PMI/PMP methodologies, contractual obligations, and relevant industry best practices. <br>
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges before they impact project timelines.

<b>- Education:</b> <br> Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. <br> <b>- Experience:</b> <br>- Minimum 7 years of experience in project planning. <br>
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role. <br>
<b>- Technical Skills:</b> <br> - Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project. <br>
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. <br>
- Familiarity with industry-standard planning methodologies and tools. <br>
<b>- Soft Skills:</b> <br> - Excellent organizational and leadership skills. <br>
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams. <br>
