Structural BIM Technician

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>

We envisage success in this role to include: <br>

• Working independently and developing structural drawings and 3D Structural REVIT models in all design stages based on basic sketch input/mark-ups from a Structural Engineer. <br>

• Coordinating within the design team on a day-to-day basis. <br>

• Creating BIM families and doing clash detection using Navisworks. <br>

• Understanding and interpreting structural engineering sketches, having a strong understanding of various types of building structures. <br>

• Assuring the correctness and accuracy of own work. <br>

• Understanding and implementing document control procedures for drawings. <br>

• Planning own workload efficiently and meeting deadlines. <br> <br> <br> <b>- Qualifications:</b> <br> <br>

• To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 to 8 years as a Structural BIM Technician. <br>

• Working knowledge in Revit Structures, AutoCAD, Navisworks, ACC (BIM 360), Microsoft Office products. <br>

• Working knowledge of standards for detailing reinforced concrete and structural steel is a must. <br>

• Experience in the detailing of structures within consultancy or contractor environments, having an understanding of various types of building structures. <br>

• Must be able to understand and interpret structural engineering sketches and calculations. <br>

• Must fully understand and interpret architectural and MEP drawings. <br>
