About the Role
Assisting the HOD in managing and processing various accounts and transactions of the Company.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
- Assist in preparation of Quarterly Financial Statements and Consolidation reports. <br>
- Assist in preparation of Budget for the parent company and of its subsidiaries. <br>
- Making MIS report and Variance Analysis. <br>
- Monitoring Cash Flows, Making Cash Flow Forecasts and ensuring the adequacy levels. <br>
- Authorizing Journal Entries, Keep the GL Controls and Ensuring, their Reconciliations on the timely Basis. <br>
- Ensuring Debtors and Vendors accounts reconciliation. <br>
- Monitoring the GL’s of the Subsidiary Companies. <br>
- Liaising with the Employees of the subsidiary companies, authorizing intercompany transactions and ensure reconciliation of intercompany accounts. <br>
- Timely obtaining Financial details from Subsidiary / Group companies for Consolidation requirements. <br>
- Liaising with bankers for Daily Operational requirements and furnishing them the required details. <br>
- Adhere to the company's or organization's financial policies and procedures. <br>
- Liaising with other departments and business units and timely addressal of their requirements. <br>
- Entertain Statutory and Internal Auditors, providing required details and ensuring timely completion of the Audits. <br>
- Suggest changes or improvements in existing processes. <br>
- Assist in adherence to other Statutory requirements and filings details (e.g. IT details, Statistics Details etc.). <br>
- Ensuring compliance to the policies as approved by the board and bringing concerns to the management. <br>
- Assisting HOD for other various matters. <br> <br> <br> <b>- Requirements:</b> <br> <br>
- Coach and provide career development advice to staff. <br>
- Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews. <br>
- Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, back-up for absent employees, etc. <br>
- Communicate with Managers and other department colleagues. <br>
- Such other job as are assigned by the reporting senior. <br>
- Participate in trainings and promote awareness on policies throughout the department. <br>
- Ensure proper use of PPEs where applicable and advise and report when there is a failure to such inside the organization. <br> <br> <br> <b>- Compliance Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
- Compliance to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). <br>
- Adherence to Legal & regulatory Norms on all applicable laws set forth by the Nation and international community.
