Project Manager

F&M Middle East is looking for a candidate for the position of Project Manager to be placed in its office in Muscat, Oman. <br> <br> <br> The PM will act as the Company's representative, with the authority to act on behalf of the Company in all matters relating to the specific project.

<b>Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>

• Ensure that team staff and consultants meet their obligations in accordance with their respective agreements with the Company in terms of deliveries and timelines. <br>
• Report any non-compliance to the company. <br>
• Effectively detect and manage discrepancies/anomalies/conflicts/non-conformities in the execution of work performed by the team, and by consultants, suppliers etc. <br>
• The PM must bring such issues to the attention of the Company, together with the proposed corrective solutions. Interface directly with the customer, unless otherwise indicated by the Company. <br>
• Maintain a record of all correspondence, reports, documents, etc. during the project. <br>
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports specifically for the client and the Company, in accordance with the requirements of the latter and the client, and based on the needs of the company. <br>
• Approval and rejection of all invoices received. <br>
• Monitor and ensure timely submission of all documents required by the contract. <br>
• Review all documents to be delivered, and issue comments/observations for approval by the Company in accordance with the specified timeframes and other provisions of the contract. <br>
• Review and analyze variation requests submitted by subcontractors/contractors for validity and impact on costs and schedules. <br>
• Maintain complete and up-to-date records of all contractual and project changes. <br>
• Recommend to the company a complaint prevention/mitigation strategy that leads to dispute resolution. <br>

• Maintain accurate, complete and comprehensive records of all disputes that may arise during the execution of the project for possible use by the Company in the event of arbitration.

<b>- The ideal candidate has the following requirements:</b> <br> <br>

• 8-10 years of experience <br>
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related course of study <br>
• Excellent knowledge of the Italian language
