About the Role
As an Adventure Park Specialist, you are in constant contact with guests and participants on a daily basis, at this level one can introduce and instruct clients on use of safety equipment as well as a variety of other tasks in Adventure Parks such as supporting rescues. You'd teach guest’s new skills so they can safely enjoy outdoor adventure park sports and activities such as climbing wall, rope courses, zip line. <br> Job duties of the Adventure Park Specialist includes working outdoors, and day-to-day aspects of the job and ensuring satisfactory customer service and safety.
Requirements
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
- Safe fitting of harnesses <br>
- Safety briefings and instructions <br>
- Constant supervision of clients on the courses <br>
- Checking safety devices are attached <br>
- Clients using courses as instructed <br>
- Providing brief assistance where appropriate <br>
- Client retrievals from the course using ladders and technical climbing equipment <br> <br> <br> <b>- Park maintenance:</b> <br>
- Painting safety cables, tightening platforms or adjusting activities <br>
- Pruning or landscaping <br>
- Basic gear maintenance <br> <br> <br>
<b>- Qualifications:</b> <br>
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and expertise as an Adventure Park Specialist <br>
- With rope course or Zip line experience and not afraid of heights Passionate about the adventure park activities <br>
- Enjoys interacting and working with people <br>
- Has basic experience in rock climbing or ropes (not essential) <br>
- High School Diploma or equivalent required <br>
- Must possess a current internationally recognized First Aid/CPR Certification
