Safety Officer

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced <b>Safety Officers</b> for an offshore project in <b>Marjan</b>. Candidates must have Aramco approval and extensive experience in offshore safety operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with <b>Aramco safety standards</b>, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

<b>Key Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>
<b>- Safety Compliance & Oversight:</b> Ensure strict adherence to Aramco’s safety policies, offshore regulations, and international safety standards. <br> <b>- Hazard & Risk Assessment:</b> Identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures to minimize risks in offshore operations. <br> <b>- Training & Safety Awareness:</b> Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for offshore personnel. <br>
<b>- Incident Investigation & Reporting:</b> Lead investigations of safety incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions. <br> <b>- Emergency Preparedness:</b> Ensure offshore teams are trained in emergency response protocols, including evacuation procedures and first aid. <br> <b>- Permit-to-Work System:</b> Enforce and oversee permit-to-work processes for offshore activities to maintain operational safety. <br> <b>- HSE Audits & Inspections:</b> Conduct regular offshore safety inspections, audits, and reporting in line with Aramco standards.
<br> <br> <br> <b>- Qualifications & Requirements:</b> <br> <br>
<b>- Experience:</b> Minimum <b>5 years</b> in Aramco projects, with specific offshore safety experience. <br> <b>- Education:</b> Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in <b>Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field</b>. <br>
<b>- Certifications:</b> <br>

• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA (or equivalent safety qualifications) <br>
• Offshore safety training certifications (BOSIET/FOET, H2S, First Aid/BLS, etc.) <br> <b>- Additional Requirements:</b> <br>
• Strong knowledge of <b>Saudi Aramco’s safety policies</b> and <b>offshore operational safety procedures</b>. <br>
• Proficiency in <b>incident investigation and reporting methodologies</b>. <br>
• Familiarity with <b>international offshore safety standards</b> and <b>HSE regulations</b>. <br>
• Excellent <b>communication skills</b> to deliver safety training and collaborate with offshore teams.
