Procurement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Officer/Engineer to join our team in Dammam. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for managing all procurement processes, including local and international purchasing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the company’s supply chain efficiency, cost control, and vendor management.

<b>Responsibilities:</b> <br>

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for both local and international purchases.

• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
  <br>
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with suppliers and vendors.
  <br>
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
  <br>
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  <br>
• Prepare purchase orders, procurement reports, and supplier performance evaluations.
  <br>
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
  <br>
• Resolve supplier issues and mitigate risks related to delays, quality concerns, or compliance.
  <br>
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and update the SAP system regularly.

<b- >Qualifications: </b> <br>

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  <br>
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and procurement within the manufacturing industry.
  <br>
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain strategies.
  <br>
• Proficiency in SAP procurement software is mandatory.
  <br>
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  <br>
• Experience in a management, leadership, or supervisory role is an advantage.
  <br>
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  <br>
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
  <br>
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  <br>
• Preferably Filipino and Indian nationals.
  <br>
• Transferrable Iqama or, if outside KSA, GCC experience in the same field is required.
