About the Role
The BIM Engineer plays a critical role in developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models across multidisciplinary engineering projects. This role ensures accurate digital representation of project components, supports design optimization, and enhances construction planning efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and related tools.
- Coordinate with architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure model accuracy.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between disciplines.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation.
- Support project planning, cost estimation, and design reviews using BIM data.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and EHS requirements.
- Collaborate with site teams to integrate BIM with actual construction progress.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of BIM experience in construction or industrial projects.
- Strong command of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
- Experience in petrochemical, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
