About the Role
The Carpenter Foreman leads carpentry teams in executing formwork, shuttering, and wood‑related construction tasks. This role ensures accurate measurements, high‑quality workmanship, and adherence to project timelines. The foreman is responsible for guiding carpenters, distributing tasks, and ensuring all carpentry works meet structural and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise carpentry teams performing formwork, shuttering, and wood installations.
- Interpret drawings and ensure accurate dimensions and alignment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Plan daily tasks and allocate manpower efficiently.
- Coordinate with steel fixers, masons, and civil supervisors for smooth workflow.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Monitor material usage and request additional supplies when needed.
- Train and guide workers to improve productivity and workmanship.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in formwork and carpentry techniques.
