About the Role
The Cashier is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while managing cash transactions accurately and efficiently. This role includes handling payments, issuing receipts, maintaining cash drawers, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The cashier also supports daily store operations, assists customers with inquiries, and ensures compliance with financial procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately (cash, card, digital payments)
- Issue receipts, refunds, and handle returns as per company policy
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and report discrepancies
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Support store operations and assist with product inquiries
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cashier area
