About the Role
Urgent Hiring – Transferable Iqama Required
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with strong experience in finishing, structural works, pricing, and quantity surveying to join a reputable contracting company in Dammam. The ideal candidate will oversee site execution, ensure quality compliance, prepare cost estimates, and coordinate with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. This role requires hands‑on site supervision, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage finishing works (plaster, paint, tiles, ceilings, joinery, etc.) and structural activities (concrete, formwork, steel, foundations).
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take‑offs, cost estimates, and pricing for tenders and ongoing projects.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and project specifications to ensure compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, delays, or discrepancies on site.
- Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and project documentation. - Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Verify completed works for payment certificates and subcontractor billing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in contracting companies in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong background in finishing and structural works.
- Proven experience in pricing, estimation, and quantity surveying.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and QS/estimation tools.
- Strong understanding of Saudi building codes, project specifications, and site execution standards.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and site management skills.
- Must have valid and transferable Iqama.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
