About the Role
The Electrical Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial electrical systems used in construction, manufacturing, and heavy‑equipment environments.
This position is responsible for diagnosing electrical faults, maintaining control systems, and supporting automated processes to minimize downtime and enhance operational productivity. The technician must be capable of handling complex electrical components, including VFDs, control panels, and basic PLC systems, while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults quickly and implement effective repair solutions to avoid operational delays.
- Install, configure, and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), ensuring correct parameter settings.
- Conduct inspections and testing of control panels, wiring systems, and electrical components.
- Support automated processes through basic troubleshooting of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen‑Bradley preferred).
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to resolve combined electro‑mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system updates.
- Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, lock‑out/tag‑out protocols, and company standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in control panel operations, wiring, and electrical diagnostics.
- Practical knowledge of VFD installation, programming, and parameter configuration.
- Basic understanding of PLC logic and industrial automation platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to urgent technical issues.
- Strong analytical skills, teamwork, and communication abilities.
