About the Role
The Food Server plays a vital role in ensuring that hospital patients receive meals that are safe, nutritious, and delivered with care. This position supports daily food service operations inside hospital facilities, including meal preparation assistance, tray assembly, delivery to wards, and maintaining hygiene standards.
The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting patient well‑being through excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, portioning, and assembling meal trays according to hospital dietary guidelines.
- Deliver meals to patient rooms and hospital wards with accuracy and courtesy.
- Ensure all food items meet safety, hygiene, and temperature standards.
- Collect used trays and return them to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, serving areas, and equipment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors, dietitians, and nursing staff regarding special diets.
- Support smooth daily operations during meal service times.
- Adhere to hospital infection‑control and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Saudi nationality (male or female).
- High school qualification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to follow hygiene and safety standards.
- Previous experience in food service is an advantage but not required.
