About the Role
The Heavy Trailer Driver is responsible for transporting heavy equipment and materials safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires strong driving skills, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to manage long-distance trips within project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy trailers and transport equipment/materials to assigned locations
- Ensure safe driving practices and compliance with traffic and company regulations
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery records
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid heavy vehicle driving license
- Proven experience operating heavy trailers (Gulf experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of road safety and defensive driving
- Ability to handle long-distance routes and challenging conditions
- Valid Iqama, Muqeem, and passport (minimum 3 months validity)
- Medical fitness and required documentation (Chamber & Ajeer)
