About the Role
The Mechanical Engineer will oversee the design review, technical coordination, and execution of mechanical systems across major Oil & Gas and industrial construction projects. The role requires strong engineering judgment, the ability to interpret complex drawings, and hands‑on experience in site supervision. The engineer will ensure that all mechanical works comply with project specifications, Aramco standards, and international engineering codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review mechanical designs, drawings, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, firefighting, rotating equipment, etc.).
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and progress documentation.
- Support project planning, material approvals, and engineering submittals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas or industrial construction.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, codes, and standards (ASME, API, ISO).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/MEP, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
